AIPSSA 3MT Competition 2023

On 25 November 2023, the AIPSSA Curtin University, supporting the AIPSSA Western Australia, successfully held the AIPSSA 3MT Competition. Ten master's and PhD students from UWA, Curtin University, and Murdoch University came together at Tim Winton Lecture Theatre, Curtin University. 

Round of applause for our 3MT participants on their outstanding presentations! Special congratulations to our winners: Helmy Setiabudi (Murdoch University) won first place, Issana Burhan (Curtin University) won runner-up, and Anastasia Koo (Murdoch University) won the People's Choice award.

Note: AIPSSA has been authorised to develop a 3MT competition and has permission to use all resources. The competition challenges graduate students to present their research concisely and engagingly in three minutes. Contestants must effectively communicate their thesis or dissertation topic to a non-specialist audience, showcasing the significance and impact of their work. The competition improves participants' communication skills and provides a platform to gain exposure and recognition for their research. The target participants of the AIPSSA 3MT competition are Indonesian postgraduate students in Western Australia. The program aims to publish the talents of Indonesian postgraduate students to international audiences and to encourage the winner of AIPSSA 3MT to compete at higher competition levels such as University 3MT and Asia-Pacific 3MT.
